What we take on when you join.
Everything below runs for as long as you are with us. It is one engagement, not a menu of things to buy separately, and the whole of it is included from the day you start.
Positioning
Before anything is written we agree what you are going after. One to three roles, chosen for where your experience actually sells rather than where your last title sat. This is the decision the rest of the engagement rests on, so we spend real time on it.
Positioning in detail →Your CV, rebuilt
A separate CV for each role you are going after, written against what employers in that role are asking for at the moment rather than a generic format. You approve every one before it is used anywhere. While your search is live we keep them current, because what the market asks for in March is not what it asks for in September.
How we write them →The search
This is the part people are really buying. Openings found, filtered and put in front of employers on your behalf, every working day, at a volume no individual can sustain alone. You are not sent a list of links to work through in the evening. It is done.
What the search involves →A record you can audit
Where you were put forward, when, and with which version of your CV. Kept for the life of the engagement and open to you. If you ever want to know why a particular week was quiet, there is an answer rather than an apology.
Interview preparation
Not general technique. Preparation for the specific conversation in front of you, built around what that employer asked for and what they were sent about you. Repeated before every round, including the late ones where most people stop preparing.
Interviews and the offer →The offer
A second opinion at the point you are least able to give yourself one. What the number should be, what is negotiable, what the wording actually commits you to, and whether the role is the one you should take.
After you start
We stay reachable through the first stretch in the seat. The first weeks of a new role are when people most want someone outside it to talk to, and that call has never been billed.
Things people ask before they commit.
Are you applying as me?
We act on your behalf, with your agreement, using your real history. Nothing is invented and nothing goes out that you have not approved. You can tell us to leave a company or a whole sector alone at any point and we will.
What happens to my own LinkedIn profile?
It stays yours. Nothing touches your personal profile without you knowing, and a senior person owns anything that involves it. Your accounts and your reputation outlast this engagement, and we treat them that way.
What does it cost?
We go through it properly on the first call. What we would charge depends on what your search actually needs, and quoting a number on a web page to someone we have not spoken to would be a guess. You will have the full terms on that call and again in writing, and nothing is charged before you have read all of it and said yes. The call itself costs nothing.
What if I am never placed?
We will have told you on the first call if we did not think we could place you, rather than taking you on anyway. What happens in that situation is set out in your agreement and we go through it line by line before you sign, along with the cancellation and refund terms.
Can you sponsor a visa?
No. We are not an employer and we are not immigration advisers. We ask about work authorisation because it decides which roles are realistic for you, and we only put you forward where it fits. For questions about your status itself, speak to a licensed attorney.
How long does it take?
That depends on your field, your level and the market far more than on us, so anyone giving you a number on a website is guessing. What we will commit to is that the work runs every working day from the first week, and that you can see it happening.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your information is used to run your search. It goes to employers you are being put forward to and nowhere else.
