A small firm with a narrow list.
SkyRah exists because of a gap anyone who has job hunted seriously already knows about. There is no shortage of people willing to sell you advice. There is almost nobody willing to do the work with you.
We chose the second job. It is slower, it does not scale the way advice does, and it means we can only carry a limited number of people at once. We think that is the right trade. A search that is genuinely being worked is worth more than a hundred pages of guidance nobody has time to act on.
The firm is deliberately unglamorous about this. We are not a platform, a network or a marketplace. We are a group of people who take on your search and answer for how it is going.
Four things we will not trade away.
Your name is not ours to spend
Everything that goes out under your name is true and you have seen it. We do not embellish, we do not invent, and we do not touch your personal accounts in ways that could come back on you. Your reputation outlasts this engagement.
You can look at everything
Ask what happened last Tuesday and you get a list, not a reassurance. We keep a full record of your search and it stays open to you.
We say no
Some people do not need us. Some are looking for a promise nobody honest can make. We would rather lose that conversation on the first call than take money for a search we do not believe in.
We stay past the offer
A lot of firms go quiet the moment you sign somewhere. The first weeks in a new seat are exactly when people want someone outside it to talk to, so we are still reachable then, and that has never been a separate conversation.
This works best for people already in motion.
Our clients tend to be a few years into a career rather than at the very start of one. They usually have something specific pulling them. A company that is drifting. A title that stopped meaning anything. A salary that fell behind. A visa clock. A move to a new city.
They are not looking for encouragement. They are looking for someone to take the weight. If that is roughly where you are, the first call will be short and useful.
Start there →Sky and Rah.
The mark is a peak with a point above it. Ground you can stand on, and something further up worth the climb. That is the whole idea and it is the reason the firm is called what it is.
People rarely come to us because their situation is desperate. They come because they can see the next thing and cannot get to it alone.
