What we do with what you send us.
Short version. We collect what you type into the form or the assistant, we use it to talk to you and to run your search if you join us, and we do not sell it to anyone. You can ask us to delete it whenever you like.
What we collect
When you fill in the form: your name, email, phone, the sort of role you are going for, your work authorisation, your location, your LinkedIn address if you give one, when you would like to be reached, anything you write in the message box, and whether you ticked the box to receive text messages.
When you use the assistant: the messages you type. If you give your contact details there instead of in the form, they are recorded the same way.
Our servers also keep ordinary technical records of requests, including your address, which we use to keep the site up and to stop abuse.
What we do not do
This site sets no cookies. There are no advertising trackers on it, no analytics, and nothing on these pages is loaded from another company. Nothing here follows you to other sites, because there is nothing here that could.
If you switch the site between light and dark, that choice is saved on your own device and is never sent to us.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. Not to recruiters, not to list brokers, not to anyone.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, to read your background before the call so the call is useful, and, if you decide to join us, to run your search and keep the record of it that we promise you.
Who else sees it
Our own people, the companies that host the site and store the data on our behalf, and the services that carry our email, calls and texts, which handle your address, number and messages only to provide that service to us. The replies from the assistant are produced by our provider, Anthropic, which processes what you type in that window in order to answer you. That is the whole list.
Employers see nothing unless you are a client, and then only what you have approved. You sign off every version of your CV before it goes anywhere.
We may hand over information if the law requires it. We would rather tell you first, and will where we are allowed to.
Text messages
We text you only if you ticked the box on our form or asked us to, and only to arrange your call and follow up on it. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message and we stop. Reply HELP for help, or ask through the contact page.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Decisions about you
Whether we take you on, and what we advise you to do, is decided by people. If you want to know why we said something, ask and a person will tell you.
How long we keep it
If you enquire and nothing comes of it, we keep what you sent while it is still of any use and delete it on request. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we work together and for as long afterwards as we are required to.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold. A correction. Deletion. To stop hearing from us. Ask through the contact form or by email and we will do it. You do not need a reason and it costs nothing.
Keeping it safe
Access is limited to the people who need it, anything sensitive is stored encrypted, and access to it is logged. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not collect what we do not need, which is the part that helps most.

This service is for working adults. Please do not send us anything if you are under 18.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we will change this page, and the date below with it.
